Studios & Gardens Volunteer Open Morning

Three older people are leaning in to look at a book that one of them is holding.

Join our volunteering team for an Open Morning on Wednesday 25 October 2023 and explore the opportunities available at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens.

Do you have an enthusiasm for art and culture, or experience in education? Do you enjoy spending time surrounded by art and nature?

We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our community of volunteers who help us to bring Henry Moore’s home and workplace to life. We are particularly keen to meet new people who would be interested in guiding tours for our school and group visitors, or who would enjoy helping to maintain our gardens.

Come along on 25 October to find out more. There will be refreshments on offer and the opportunity to explore the sculpture gardens, plus the chance to meet current volunteers to learn about the volunteering experience, expectations, and the impact volunteers can have.

“This is a really exciting opportunity for anyone who has an interest in the arts or love for nature. The open event is a great way to find out more, ask questions and discover all the ways volunteering can enrich lives.

“Prior experience isn’t necessary and volunteers will receive dedicated training and support.

“Henry Moore Studios & Gardens is a treasure trove of art and history. Whether someone is newly retired, a student looking for valuable work experience, or simply has a few hours to spare, there are numerous ways for people to become part of our community.”
