New library acquisitions: Autumn 2026

Cover of the books Black Artists in America: From the Bicentennial to September 11 and Veronica Ryan: Multiple Conversations.

New additions to the library this season include catalogues for many of this year’s notable exhibitions.

These include accompanying publications from Ana Mendieta at Tate Modern; Hepworth in Colour at the Courtauld Gallery; Veronica Ryan: Multiple Conversations at Whitechapel Gallery; Anish Kapoor at Hayward Gallery; and Lubaina Himid Predicting History: Testing Translations at the Venice Art Biennale.

The library also received a fantastic selection of booklets containing insightful essays from Cample Line which have been produced to accompany their exhibitions. Several of these shows were supported by grants from the Henry Moore Foundation including Chiara Camoni, Kira Freije, and Amalia Pica.

We are also delighted to add a copy of Hammer, Anvil, Stirrup to the collection. This hand-printed publication was made by the fifteen sculptors of YSI Sculpture Network 2025 and documents the one-day intervention of the same name which took place in the library.

Browse the latest additions to the collection on the New Acquisitions shelf in the library, or via the online library catalogue.
