Our sculpture gardens and studios, set in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, are the best place in the world to appreciate the work of one of Britain’s most famous artists.

Explore the studios and gardens with a choice of tailored itineraries for groups of ten or more.

Group visits 2024

Bookings are now open for our 2024 visitor season, which runs from Thursday 28 March until Sunday 3 November.

 

What you can see

We offer your group the chance to learn more about Henry Moore’s life, explore the landscape that inspired his work, and take a tour of the Moore’s family home.

Group itineraries

We offer a choice of two itineraries for pre-booked groups of between ten and forty visitors.

All group visits include a guided tour of the sculpture gardens, studios, tapestries and current exhibition. Our discounted group tickets include day entry to Studios & Gardens, group tickets are not included in our annual ticket scheme.

Itinerary A

A shorter visit, ideal for groups who are travelling from further afield.

£14 per person

  • Start time: 11:45
  • Access to the sculpture gardens, studios and aisled barn for the duration of your visit
  • 90 minute guided tour of Henry Moore Studios & Gardens
  • Discounted ticket price (save £3.50 compared to standard entry tickets)

 

Itinerary B

A full day visit with the chance to see Hoglands, the Moore’s family home.

£19 per person

  • Start time: 11:00
  • Access to the sculpture gardens, studios, and aisled barn for the duration of your visit
  • 90 minute guided tour of Henry Moore Studios & Gardens
  • Further discount to ticket price (save £4.50 compared to standard entry + Hoglands tickets)
  • Guided tour of Hoglands house

The maximum number of people on a tour of Hoglands house at any one time is 8 people. Larger groups will be split, with tour times staggered throughout your visit. If you group is larger than 24 people, please let us know in advance on the booking form.

Food and drink

Rosey Lea Café

Our café is run by the friendly, local team from Rosey Lea, who have many years of experience producing delicious home-made food.

They offer a choice of menus for group visitors, which you can order in advance during the booking process, including hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, light lunches and cakes.

Picnics

If you prefer to bring your own refreshments, we have two outdoor picnic areas in the gardens with both tables and space to lay out picnic blankets.

Please note that our picnic areas are open to the elements. If you visit on a cold or wet day, we cannot guarantee an indoor space for your picnic.

For the enjoyment of all visitors, we ask that you don’t picnic in the sculpture gardens.

Getting here

We’re located just 27 miles north of London in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.

We have free coach parking on site.
Due to the narrow lanes leading to our site, we have a coach length limit of 11 metres.
