Henry Moore Foundation (henry-moore.org) is a website operated by The Henry Moore Foundation (“we”, “our”, “us”, “the Charity”). We are registered as a charitable company limited by guarantee under charity registration no. 271370 and company no. 01255762. Our registered office is at Dane Tree House, Perry Green, Much Hadham, SG10 6EE.

You should take all necessary steps to ensure that the password is kept confidential and secure and should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorised manner.

We have the right to disable any password at any time. We also have the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content or cancel orders at our discretion.

If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your password, you must promptly notify us at admin@henry-moore.org.

How you may use material on our site

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site and in the material published on it except where stated otherwise. All such legal rights are reserved.

You are granted a limited licence to access and make personal use of this website, but not to modify it, or any portion of it, except with our express written consent. This licence does not include any resale or commercial use of this website or its contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of this website or its contents; any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another merchant; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.

You may not use any element of the Charity’s logo or other proprietary graphic or trademark as part of a website link without our express written consent.

 

No text or data mining, or web scraping

You may not conduct, facilitate, authorise or permit any text or data mining or web scraping in relation to our site or any services provided via, or in relation to, our site. This includes using (or permitting, authorising or attempting the use of):

  • Any “robot”, “bot”, “spider”, “scraper” or other automated device, program, tool, algorithm, code, process or methodology to access, obtain, copy, monitor or republish any portion of the site or any data, content, information or services accessed via the same.
  • Any automated analytical technique aimed at analysing text and data in digital form to generate information which includes but is not limited to patterns, trends and correlations.

Where our site contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. Such links should not be interpreted as approval by us of those linked websites or information you may obtain from them.

We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources.

 

Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you

We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. We are not responsible for viruses and you must not introduce them

We do not guarantee that our site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

Which country’s laws apply to any disputes?

Please note that these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.

Intellectual property

All content included on the website, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of the Charity, its affiliates or its content suppliers except where otherwise stated, and is protected by United Kingdom and international copyright and database right laws.

 

The Foundation and its affiliates respect the intellectual property and privacy of others

If you believe that we have used your intellectual property in a way that is not permitted by UK and international intellectual property law, or you would like to object to our use of photography that depicts yourself or a family member, please contact us by emailing admin@henry-moore.org.
