Summer families workshop

Artist Workshop: Clay Sculptures with Amelia Frances Wood

10:00–12:00 & 13:30–15:30

The Studio

Henry Moore Institute, Leeds

Two young boys sat at a table sculpting with clay.

Join us for a fun, hands on workshop with artist Amelia Frances Wood. We’ll use clay to create abstract sculptures inspired by our current exhibition, Fragment and Form.

We’ll begin with a tour of the exhibition to get some inspiration, then head to our new Studio to learn clay modelling techniques. Guiding us will be local artist and ceramics technician Amelia, who will help you to create your own clay sculptures.

This workshop is designed for families with children aged 6+. We encourage creativity in all ages, so adults are encouraged to make too!

Tickets & booking

Tickets for this workshop are free, but please book in advance as places are limited.

Please book tickets for all members of your group, and come in clothing that you don’t mind getting messy in.

Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
