A family of five people, three children and two adults, sitting on a lawn and looking at a huge bronze sculpture

Shape, scale and sculpt your own creations amongst our landscape and skyline!

Make your own assemblages, using an array of natural, reclaimed and recycled materials. Observe the nature and surrounding sculptures. Do you think you can make something like what you’ve seen outside, or a totally original creation of your own? Feel the textures, notice the tones and watch the materials transform before your eyes.

For summer, we’re taking our drop-in sculpting activity out into the gardens. Join our team in Henry Moore’s kitchen garden on dates throughout August:

Thursday 1 August
Thursday 8 August
Thursday 15 August
Thursday 22 August
Monday 26 August (Bank Holiday)
Thursday 29 August

Since this an outdoor event, please dress for the weather and consider sun cream, sun hats, drinking water etc. We will be working on the ground, please wear comfortable and practical clothing.

Recommended for children age 3+ and their families, we encourage intergenerational activity. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

A woman and two children use a variety of large foam shapes to create a towering sculpture that is taller than the smallest child
