Drop-in workshop

Bend and Weave: Sculpting in Willow

Drop in any time between 10:30–12:30 and 13:30–15:30

Henry Moore Institute, Leeds

This event has passed

A person making a sculpture from pieces of willow wood. The base is shaped like a five-pointed star, and raises up to a single point, not unlike a Christmas tree.

Using flexible willow branches, express your own stories by creating sculptures together while exploring the artwork of Dominique White, which is on display in our current exhibition Fragment and Form.

This workshop will provide a safe, fun, and creatively stimulating environment for families to explore the themes, materials and processes within our current exhibition through creative play.

Free, no booking necessary

This event is free of charge and no booking is required, just drop in any time between 10:30–12:30 and 11:30–15:30

Suitable for families with children aged 3+. This is an intergenerational workshop – we encourage creativity in all ages! Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
