Encounters with Moore

14:00

Studios & Gardens, Hertfordshire

A photo taken through a hole in a bronze sculpture. Through the hole you can see a middle aged man, wearing fashionable spectacles, talking into a microphone.

Meet staff from across Henry Moore Studios & Gardens as they share their personal encounters with Moore, from favourite sculptures or studios to anecdotes about the artist himself.

During these relaxed talks, visitors can learn about the range of collaborators who visited Moore’s rural Hertfordshire home.

Discover Moore’s creative partnerships, friendships, innovative approach to materials and process, and the broader social and political contexts that shaped his work.
