Family workshop: Water Painting

10:30–12:30 and 14:00–16:00

Henry Moore Institute, Leeds

This event has passed

Play with water, inks and wax to make images and collages inspired by our current exhibition, Lungiswa Gqunta Sleep in Witness.

Join our Engagement Curator Alison Smith to try out three different ways of making images using water.

After a short tour of the exhibition to gather some ideas and drawings, you’ll try out wax resist painting, paper marbling and bubble painting to make interesting patterns and textures using water and inks.

We’ll then use some of your patterns to make abstract collages, inspired by the exhibition.
