Join us in making hanging mobiles, inspired by shapes and objects that can be found around our site.

You might be inspired by Moore’s sculptures or a beautiful leaf; whatever you find interesting will help you to make a wonderful hanging encounter of Perry Green to treasure at home.

You’ll also have the chance to make a cyanotype print of the objects you find. Arrange your objects on a specially prepared piece of cardboard, leave your artwork to bask in the sunlight and let nature do the rest! As the sun works its magic, your unique botanical blueprint will be revealed – capturing a little piece of Henry Moore’s landscape in your own creation.

Recommended for ages 5+ and their accompanying adults.

Please wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather.

Tickets

Entry is included in an annual ticket. This event is drop-in, so there’s no need to book. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

  • If you already have an annual ticket, just come along on the day and bring your annual ticket with you.
  • If you don’t have an annual ticket, you can buy one online or from the ticket desk when you arrive.

An annual ticket lets you return to Studios & Gardens as often as you like, during open season, for 12 calendar months.

This season at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens, we’re celebrating the inspiring and transformative encounters between Henry Moore and the people, objects and ideas in his orbit.

We’ll be holding a series of talks, open archives and film screenings, as well as a daily programme of free creative activities for families.

We’re located just 27 miles north of London in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.

Our 2025 visitor season runs from 16 April to 2 November. We’re open Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00–17:00.
