Join us at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens for a special celebration marking the birthday of world-renowned sculptor Henry Moore, born 127 years ago this July.

On Wednesday 30 July, families, art lovers, and curious minds of all ages are invited to enjoy an afternoon of creativity, cake, and sculpture. Drop in 13:00–16:00 for Flint, Pulp & Sculpt, a hands-on family workshop inspired by Moore’s bold forms and his deep connection to natural materials. Explore texture, shape, and scale as you create your own mixed-media mini masterpiece using paper pulp and flint stones to sculpt something truly unique to take home.

To mark the occasion, we’ll be serving 127 slices of birthday cake – one for every year since Moore’s birth. Enjoy a slice on us with every drink purchased at the Café.

Come and celebrate the life and legacy of one of Britain’s most influential artists in the beautiful Hertfordshire landscape he called home – the very place that inspired his work and where his monumental sculptures still stand today.
