Open Archive: Human Landscapes
14:00–16:30
Studios & Gardens, Hertfordshire
This event has passed

When Henry Moore made a sculpture for an outdoor space, he would have to think about the landscape in which it would live. He would consider the light, the space, the wildlife, even the colours of buildings around the work.
For this special summer session you can also use cut-outs and modelling materials to experiment with the placing of sculpture in different landscapes – natural, manmade, imaginary – finding new ways to think about sculpture in outdoor spaces.
Our friendly team will be on hand to answer any questions or give any help you may need. This is a family-friendly intergenerational activity – we encourage creativity in all ages.
Open Archive sessions are included in your annual ticket.
Drop-in, no booking needed.
