Uncover Moore’s relationships with leading photographers and film-makers.

Moore was photographed and filmed by many notable artists throughout his career, including Lord Snowden, Irving Penn, and the BBC’s John Read.

This session features unique portraits of the Moore from the collection, including an unusual photocollage and a birthday telemessage from David Hockney.

Led by the Henry Moore Archive team, these open archive sessions invite you to explore Moore’s many encounters with notable artists, architects, photographers, film-makers, poets and writers through the fascinating material held in the Henry Moore Archive.

We’ve carefully curated new collections of material that showcase collaborations and friendships Moore had with other creatives from across the spectrum of visual and performative arts and literature, highlighting the lasting impact on their work and his own.
