Drop-in workshop
Reinventing Reality with Artist Students in Residence
14:00–15:30 (plus 11:30–13:00 on 19 October)
Studios & Gardens, Hertfordshire

Drop in and discover new ways of seeing and interpreting everyday objects as sculptural art forms.
Activities include:
- scribble game warm-ups
- responding to objects that you can’t see
- creating with words, clay, and cardboard constructions
- experiencing tactile objects that the student artists running the sessions have found inspiring when making their own work
Henry Moore is well known for being inspired by natural objects, which he collected and used in material experiments and as an aid in sculpture making.
You can take your creations away at the end of the workshop, or add them to our growing object library, which can then be reimagined by others as the week of activity unfolds.
