You are warmly invited to join us at the exhibition preview of SUNLIGHT: Roger Ackling and Sarah Casey: Negative Mass Balance.

SUNLIGHT: Roger Ackling is the first survey and most comprehensive exhibition of the work of artist Roger Ackling (1947-2014), one of the most quietly influential artists of the late twentieth century.

Sarah Casey: Negative Mass Balance presents a new body of work responding to the precarious nature of glacial archaeology. Her delicate, atmospheric drawings and sculpture are inspired by objects emerging from ice in the Swiss Alps.

All welcome, free entry. Drinks will be served.

Fourteen everyday wooden objects, including a plug, chip fork, lolly stick, and a peg, are arranged in a line on a wall. They have all been 'decorated' with different patterns of black lines, burnt by the sun using a magnifying glass.
