A group of people hike along a sandy beach on an overcast day

As part of our summer series celebrating the theme of Vitality: The Human Landscapes of Henry Moore, Athene Club will be hosting an In Conversation and Talking/Walking with invited creatives from their community.

Athene Club hold monthly hikes to come together and connect in nature, to share conversation, and develop creative opportunities with one another out of these experiences.

Join the conversation to hear them unpick the notion of Vitality in relation to their creative contributors – how individually they can be with nature, inspired by nature, and the impact this has on their processes and on shaping their bodies of work.

Whether we’re talking daily drawing, textile design or sculpture, we’ll consider how nature transforms our feelings into ideas, and question whether we work with our space or against it.

Contributors include: host Zaineb Abelque, speakers Joey Yu and Lisa Keane (aka Keane World), and artworks on display from Leonie Cameron and Maisie Goddard.
