Join us for the first-ever ‘Great Easter Flint Hunt’ at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens.
This Easter, swap the usual chocolate hunt for an adventure inspired by Henry Moore himself. Step into the sculptor’s shoes and search for flint – the natural material that inspired many of his works throughout our beautiful grounds.
Follow the activity trail sheet to discover the best hunting spots, and don’t hesitate to ask our friendly team for a helping hand along the way. A special reward awaits once you’ve completed your hunt.
Please wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather.
Tickets
Entry is included in an annual ticket. This event is drop-in, so there’s no need to book. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- If you already have an annual ticket, just come along on the day and bring your annual ticket with you.
- If you don’t have an annual ticket, you can buy one online or from the ticket desk when you arrive.
An annual ticket lets you return to Studios & Gardens as often as you like, during open season, for 12 calendar months.

We’ll be holding a series of talks, open archives and film screenings, as well as a daily programme of free creative activities for families.

We’re located just 27 miles north of London in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.
Our 2025 visitor season runs from 16 April to 2 November. We’re open Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00–17:00.
