Workshop

Tongueomania: Languages, Animals and Surrealist Anatomies

10:00–13:00

Henry Moore Institute, Leeds

This event has passed

Two people on bean bags are facing a TV, on which is a close up view of a person's face with the tongue sticking out, covered in fur.

Explore the relationship between surrealist techniques and human and animal bodies in this free workshop.

Join visual poets Daniela Nicolaescu and Blaise Sales to create poetic collages about tongues (furry and otherwise), language and surrealist transformations, inspired by our current exhibition The Traumatic Surreal.

This workshop has been tailored for individuals aged 12 to 20 in mind, but all are welcome.

Tickets for this event are free, and can be bookend online via Eventbrite.
