Discover & Research

Learning, thinking, making

Henry Moore Institute, Leeds

Henry Moore’s focus on sculpture was not only as a practitioner, but also as a scholar, teacher, writer and supporter.

We welcome all kinds of educational and community groups to our contemporary sculpture gallery, where you can explore ideas about sculpture and develop critical thinking and research skills.

A group of around a dozen people of all ages are being given a guided tour of an exhibition.

Art Socials

We run termly social events for teachers and educators.

Free and informal, these artist-led sessions create a collaborative space to gain new inspiration and share ideas.

Creative workshops

We run free, artist-led creative workshops during the school holidays.

These intergenerational events encourage adults and children to make together, and connect to the themes of our current exhibition.
