Our galleries at Henry Moore Institute, Leeds, are closed while we install new exhibitions. Join us on Thursday 3 April for the opening night.

Opening times & what’s on

We’re currently closed for winter, and will reopen on Wednesday 16 April 2025. You can still visit the Henry Moore Archive, which is open by appointment year-round.

During the visitor season we’re open Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00–17:00.

Family-friendly activities

Get creative on your visit, with a daily programme of free, engaging experiences available when we reopen in April.

Free activity packs and sheets are available for all children, encouraging them to explore the Studios & Gardens and spark their imagination.

Available every day: Mini Moore

Hands-on activities for children and their adults, this might include sculpt and scene felt boarding or soft sculpting play sessions. Designed for ages 3+.
