About this event

Join our curators Sebastiano Barassi and Laura Barlow for an in-depth tour of our exhibitions, covering the exhibitions’ concept, the selection of works and archive materials.

This tour will cover The Art and Life of Henry Moore, a new permanent exhibition that celebrates the reopening of the Sheep Field Barn, as well as a special display for 2026 on Moore’s Shelter Drawings.

About the speakers

Sebastiano Barassi is the Head of Henry Moore Collections & Programmes at the Henry Moore Foundation in Hertfordshire. He regularly curates exhibitions and contributes to publications about Henry Moore and twentieth-century sculpture, and has an interest in the history and theory of conservation.

Laura Barlow is Senior Curator of Collections and Research at the Henry Moore Studios & Gardens. Her curatorial research focuses on the intersection of international modern and contemporary sculpture, public art, and architecture.

Tickets

Entry is included in an annual ticket. This event is drop-in, so there’s no need to book. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

  • If you already have an annual ticket, just come along on the day and bring your annual ticket with you.
  • If you don’t have an annual ticket, you can buy one online or from the ticket desk when you arrive.

An annual ticket lets you return to Studios & Gardens as often as you like, during open season, for 12 calendar months.

We’re located just 27 miles north of London in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.

Our 2026 visitor season runs from 1 April to 25 October. We’re open Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00–17:00.

Directions Accessibility

There are currently road works making the route from A414 into Hunsdon road not accessible until 29 May. The alternate route from A1184 to Green Tye is accessible.
