About this event

Explore our exhibition Sagarika Sundaram: Reservoir in a tactile way on this tour designed for blind and partially sighted people.

This touch tour is designed specifically for blind and partially sighted people, offering an opportunity to experience Sagarika Sundaram’s monumental sculptures made from felted wool in a tactile and collaborative way.

You’ll have the chance to handle materials and gain a deeper understanding of the themes of the exhibition and the processes used by the artist. We’ll have guided discussions as we interpret the work as a group in a friendly and relaxed environment. The gallery will be closed to others during this time, which will give you more time and space to engage with the work.

We’ll then move upstairs to our Studio space for refreshments and a short felt making activity, to enable deeper understanding of the materials used in the artwork.

Tickets

Tickets to this event are free, and can be booked online via Eventbrite.
